Hitachi’s new V series monitors are designed for price-conscious home and general users who want to enjoy the benefits of high performance viewing. The new V series begins with a 19” (18-inch viewable) and a 21” (20-inch viewable) model. Each model offers flicker-free refresh rates at the most commonly used resolutions, a tight dot pitch and some performance features that are typically only found on higher priced monitors. 

“We know that there are many users who want crisp, high-quality images in a large screen, but really do not need the advanced functionality that a professional designer or engineer requires. The V810 – 21” Monitor
The new 21” (20” viewable) monitor in the V series delivers clear, high-resolution images in a cabinet that is only 18.5” deep - the same depth as many 19” monitors. With a maximum resolution of 1600 X 1200 at a flicker free 75 Hz refresh rate, V810 enables large screen viewing with a value price. This monitor provides a super fine dot pitch of .21 mm horizontal, 0.13 mm vertical. It features dual 15 pin d-sub inputs to enable switching between two computers without restarting as well as multiple on-screen adjustments. The V810 has a 405 mm X 303 mm viewable image area. The MSRP is $609.00.

Hitachi’s V900 Monitor
With a 19” (18” viewable) display, this monitor offers plenty of viewing area for the general business, home office or personal computer use. With a maximum resolution of 1600 X 1200 at a flicker free 75Hz refresh rate, the V900 produces vibrant colors and crisp text. The new monitor provides high brightness and a tight dot pitch of 0.22 mm horizontal, 0.13 mm vertical for the best value for any 19” monitor. The V900 provides a 366 mm X 274 mm viewable image area. The MSRP is $255.00.

The two new monitors in Hitachi’s V Series feature EasyMenu on screen controls with adjustments for color temperature, degauss, trapezoid, parallelogram, and more. Hitachi’s V Series monitors provide a 3-year limited warranty.

The V810 is available for immediate shipping from Hitachi distributors worldwide. The V900 will begin shipping to Hitachi distributors on March 1, 2001.
