The new monitor – Hitachi’s CML170 flat panel display - combines high image quality and performance in a sleek, multi-featured display unit. The CML170 17-inch flat-panel display features automatic image adjustment, fast response time, 160 ^o viewing angles, integrated speakers, and options for wall or arm mounting.

The 17-inch flat panel monitors are emerging as a popular choice for users who want a large viewing area in a thin form factor, with minimal glare and emissions. Hitachi’s CML170 17-inch flat panel display meets this demand, while also delivering the high image quality for which Hitachi is known and a wide range of additional functionality that enhances viewing and operation. An auto-adjust function sets optimal brightness, contrast, horizontal/vertical position, sharpness and other digital controls automatically to ensure beautiful, distortion-free picture adjustments for each user session. Easy-to-use on screen controls provide users additional image tuning.

A wide 160^o viewing angle in both the vertical and horizontal planes adds versatility as does compliance with the VESA FPMPMI (Flat Panel Monitor Physical Mounting Interface) standard, which enables arm or wall-mounted with third party mounting arms. The CML170’s speakers and volume controls are conveniently integrated into the front bezel and a jack is available for headphones or external speakers.
