Windows® 95/98/ME/2000/XP installation guide

After downloading the file mon_inf2.exe on a disk or to your hard drive, go to the file and double click on it. After the files extract please follow the detailed instructions below.  
 

  1. Press the "Start" icon in Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP.
  2. Go to the "Settings" icon in the Start Menu.
  3. Select "Control Panel" in the attached settings menu window.
  4. Select the "Display" icon from the Control Panel menu.
  5. Select the "Settings" folder tab.
  6. Select the "Change Display Type" or "Advanced Properties" depending on your version of Windows. This will bring up a new window.
  7. Go to the Monitor tab. Select "Properties" button (Win2000/XP). Select "Change" button (Win95/98/ME).
  8. Choose Driver Tab (Win2000/XP) and then "Update" button.
  9. This will bring you into "Device Driver Wizard" (Win98/2000/XP) choose "Next". Choose the second option (WinME) "Specify the location of the driver", choose "Next" to continue. This will bring you into "Select Device Menu" (Win95).
  10. Choose the second option (Win2000/XP) "Display a list of known drivers", choose "Next" to continue. Choose the second option (WinME) "Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location", choose "Next" to continue.
  11. In the "Select/Update Device Driver" menu choose the "Have Disk" button.
  12. At the next screen choose the "Browse" button. Change the drive letter and directory to where you saved the extracted ".inf" files. Choose the ".inf" group that includes your model monitor.
  13. Click "Open/OK" on this screen.
  14. Click "OK" on the "Install From Disk" screen.
  15. When the list of models appears, select your model monitor and click "Next".
  16. Choose the "Next" button to start the device driver installation.
  17. XP users disregard "digitally signed" note and select "Continue Installation".
  18. Choose the "Finish" button to complete the installation.
